Brenda Woodall, BSE, EA

IRS Enrolled Agent and Owner of My Tax Help Pro, Brenda Woodall maintains the highest standards of tax knowledge, continuing education and ethics which qualify her for membership in the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the National Association of Tax Professionals.  Currently in her 17th year as a tax preparer, Brenda receives many referrals and actively serves clients in 10 states.

Brenda graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Abilene Christian, did graduate work in Guidance and Counseling and enjoyed a distinguished career as a public school teacher in both Texas and Indiana before her husband’s career as a TVA Auditor brought them to Knoxville Tennessee.

When the 8 Woodall children were successfully launched into their respective professions, Brenda became a widow in 2004, and decided to go back to school where she was surprised to learn how much she enjoyed the challenges of her tax classes.

Initially employed for 8 years with a national tax firm, there Brenda taught both beginner and advanced tax classes to hundreds of tax preparers and managed a very popular and profitable tax office.  She was honored as Tax Teacher of the Year and Most Valuable Employee in multiple years.  From there she went on to be a Tax Manager for another company and then ultimately the business owner of My Tax Help Pro.

Brenda’s passion to always be learning more is evident in her pursuit of continuing tax education courses far above what is required. She especially enjoys using her teaching skills to help her clients understand their personal tax situation and legally maximize the money they keep.  She is honored by the trust and confidence so many clients have placed in her and so grateful for the opportunity to help each one.
